Creating a T-Shirt Collection

Trends appear and vanish faster than ever and I wanted to create something that could stay, something that had an anchoring presence. That’s the spirit behind my “Lubchonak Ready-to-Wear” T-shirt collection. For me, these garments are important pieces of a larger conversation, a visual diary of sorts. Each T-shirt is meant to be a canvas, where I poured stories, moods, and declarations, all carefully placed into silhouettes you can live in, day in and day out.

Every design you’ll see has its own soul, its own name, its own reason for existing. I think of each one as a little key, unlocking a door to a much bigger world, a feeling, a thought.

“COUTURE STORYBOOK” — Every Thread a Word, Every Image a Chapter

When I designed "Couture Storybook," I envisioned a novel unfolding. It’s a whirlwind of images, lines, and textures that, when they come together, tell a layered tale. These T-shirt’s paint an emotional journey, visually.

Imagine wearing a story. The pieces you see are fragments chosen by me, like torn pages from a diary or cinematic stills, each holding a specific purpose. Together, they tell tales of identity, the beautiful chaos, moments of softness, and sparks of rebellion. Each design is handpicked, drawn from a deep well of my inspirations, cherished memories, and fleeting moments that reflect the artistic heartbeat of Lubchonak.

The Journey: From an Idea's Spark to the Final Stitch

The start of this T-shirt collection lies in the questions I asked myself, preceding even the initial sketches. I wondered: “What happens when the raw energy of streetwear collides with something deeper, more soulful? Could a simple T-shirt become as intimate as a page from your journal, as bold as a manifesto, or as tender as a treasured memory?”

Designs like "Elite Outline" and "Power of Silence" are born from this curiosity, playing with striking contrasts and the quiet language of graphic emotion. Then there are pieces like "Vintage Mistery" and "Are You Ready," which invite you to lean in, to find your own meaning in their layered narratives. While comfort is key in how each T-shirt is cut, the forms are also designed to carry something heavier – an emotional resonance. Techniques like screen printing, purposeful distortion, delicate hand-detailing, and thoughtful layering are the alchemies I use to transform these essentials into declarations.

For me, every creation must pulse with meaning.

Names with Heart

I spend a lot of time naming my pieces. It’s like naming a character in a story – it has to fit, to feel right.

• Are You Ready: It's a question, a challenge, perhaps even a dare, all expressed in graphic form.

This Is Far From Fast Fashion
